The band has had various professional players over years. Behind the name ignition is the simple idea of being lit up with music.
The Aka is as a result of the fact that members may alternate where the original members by majority may not be available and another formation would constitute the bands line up. Behind this name the common idea of carrying forth like Knights the music with any altered line up into the evening/Night hence k[nights]. The SOUL KNIGHTS have done regularly the “Tonbridge Castle” music festival over years which prompted the prefix K in nights.
The members have a broad taste in music and generally present that which is contemporary to the time overlapping into previous like jazz with a contemporary presentation.
